"A Beautiful Essay Composed by Luke Tormoehlen, a loyal 2nd generation guest from Indiana. In Daytona Beach, Florida there is a hotel called Tropical Manor. It is a colorful, hospitable hotel. It is always exciting to reach this destination for many reasons. The roar of the ocean can be heard outside, and the calm sway of the air conditioning can be heard inside. When entering and exiting the hotel, there are free pencils, brochures, and sweet-tasting suckers. Outside the hotel, the walls are painted pink with original paintings of flowers to depict the warm Florida atmosphere. Sculptures of dolphins and the Blues Brothers are found around the building. Moving around to the beach side of the hotel, there is a swimming pool and a shuffleboard court. A gate from the hotel to the beach is the two way ticket to paradise. Going to the beach is great, because Daytona has the softest sand in America. There is always a gentle breeze to keep the balance of temperature just right. The sun always shined in Florida to bring back to Indiana a perfect tan. And the waves...well the waves were a cross between a beautiful piece of nature and a ferocious beast that always provded a thrill. Leaving the beach and going back to the hotel, was no let down though. Inside, there are many rooms that bring shelter on moonlit Florida nights. The suites are well kept and clean. The main room included a wonderful ocean view, a television to watch March Madness, and a pull-out couch to sleep on. A kitchen was attached to the main room to store all essential vacation food items like Lays chips, powdered sugar donuts, and Diet Mountain Dew. The suite also had two beds in the back room. This hotel had all the tools to a relaxing vacation. It was relaxing, fun, and the environment was pleasing. Overall, Tropical Manor in Daytona Beach, was most of all memorable."

"me and my family have stayed at tropical manor two times and plan on coming again this year '09' it is the best place to stay it is charming the owners and staff are very nice.It is very nice and clean they have things going on in the evening dj's and stuff to do after dark right on the premises The rooms are decorated so cute it is a very good family oriented place to stay you will LOVE it we do"

"I also came to the manor on my honeymoon a few years back,We never want to leave when we get there and cant wait to come back,we missed last year ,but were not gonna miss this year ,we brought our children last time ,now they cant wait to get back to the manor its so much fun and it feels like a comfortable second home,but at the manor we can go out our back door right to the beach our feet love to hit that sand! thank you so much for all the comforts of home away from home and much more ! you are very kind people who make us want to come back."

"I have never stayed in a hotel that has made me feel so at home, all the extras they do for you are great. The staff is the best, I'll never stay anywhere else when going to Daytona. I'm glad we found this place, we stayed their for Biketoberfest and had a WONDERFUL time!!! Were hoping to be their in Feb. and March for bike week in 2010. No questions asks: THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO STAY. Free homemade cookies on Tuesday and Thrusday and free movies out by the pool, sitting by the pool movie is so relaxing, you should try it! WE WILL STAY AGAIN SOON AT TOPICAL MANOR!!!"

"Our children are all adults now and some are in the military, while they were home recently on leave before deployment to Afghanistan, my son found pictures we had on our computer from our many stays in the papaya suite when they were young, he was about 8 or 10, and is now 21. Thank you for the memories and such a beautiful place for us to make them. And thank you to Wisby Morris who introduced us to the Tropical Manor. It is truly a getaway that I recommend to any family. My husband and I are looking forward to a quiet weekend there ourselves soon! And that's what makes it perfect, whether the entire family or just the two of us, it's a small piece of paradise anyone will enjoy. Close to shopping, the grocery store, and the beautiful beach rt outside our door. If your thinking of a weekend getaway, this is definitley theplace to go. Again, thanks for such wonderful memories, and the beautiful murels, especially in the papaya suite!!"

"Daytona Beach is a popular destination for beach-goers from around the world. There are many local attractions surrounding the Tropical Manor area. (Daytona Beach Shores ) That’s what it is making it the perfect family vacation spot for everyone AND every age. Bring your ( grand) mother , kids , wife and the rest of the family to Daytona, the will love this place. A great place for lovers of water sports and its easy accessible beach ! If you do not like the beach, the big pool area is nice too. The Tropical Manor is a beautiful beach-front, lovely hotel and very laid-back.Beds are comfortable and the bathroom is nice and clean. The pillows were comfy. The staff is very nice.. I always have a great experience at the Tropical.Year after year… For leisurely guests, the famous beach ( always open !!), various museums ,galleries, the Volusia Mall and the convention centre are within close reach. Entertainment ,bars , spring break, NASCAR auto racing, Bike week ,dining ,nightlife venues and shopping opportunities abound in many locations. My favorite?? Bare feet on the white sand beach when the sun comes up in the morning…Love it !! I do enjoy the gorgeous sunshine everyday …that’s haroldslife. "We have been coming to Tropical Manor for 25 years. We started coming when I was a little girl and now I bring my children. Our stays have expanded 4 generations and every year we keep coming. What we like about Tropical Manor is the super affordable rates, we love the friendly enviornment, the cleanliness of the place and the versatility of rooms. Commfortable ammenities: laundry, pools, BBQ area. Great distance to everything and right on the BEACH!!!! They have rooms with kitchenettes, 3 bedrooms and rooms with play areas for kids! They have it all and have thought of it all! And they also have the private Audrey Beach House next door which is my favorite! This is one place where you will never be disappointment. Like I said we've been coming for 25yrs and have NEVER been disappointed. My entire family stays here and so do our friends. We recommed Tropical Manor to EVERYONE! Please check it out before you decide to rent elsewhere!"
