"Hello. I was a recent guest October 21-28, 2012. I would like to thank all of the staff for their assistance during my stay. My husband, Jay, and I have stayed at the Tropical Manor off and on for about 15 years. It is always a warm and welcome place to stay. It is like coming to a favorite relatives home - warm, inviting and comfortable. This trip was different, in that my husband passed away recently and coming to the Tropical Manor was the place I wanted to come to to relax and gather my thoughts. Again, thank you for your lovely place and I will return."

"My husband and I have stayed here several times. The most recent was November for my 50th brithday. We brought our grandchildren to Florida for the 1st time and to Disney. This place is 'GREAT'. The people here make you feel at home. Clean, fun, and just a great place to stay!! Close to everything, and it will be a place we will be spending more time at when we retire."

"Absolutely loved Tropical Manor!! Was fortunate to spend a 4 day Labor Day weekend mini-vacation there with my Mom and my Great-Aunt. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. The rooms were spacious, clean, and we loved all the bright colors! In 45 yrs of traveling, have never felt this welcome. Will definitely be back, and have already spoken with friends for return trip next summer. If you come to the Tropical Manor, be prepared for friendly staff, awesome pool area and so many amenities I can't name them all. Loved it, all I can say :)"

"What a great place to stay. Charla and her husband were a credit to the resort and nothing was too much trouble for them. Great place, very clean, guests and staff very welcoming and friendly too. All amenities are there and couldn't fault this resort. Anyone else who says anything to the contrary are either very hard to please or just plain fibbing."

"I have just returned from spending two days at Tropical Manor. I must say it was an amazing getaway! I have been in Timeshare for 28 years and am currently a Marketing Manager at Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort located on Disney property and am use to Reasorts that are large and packed with people. I have not been to Daytona in years and was very skeptical to say the least of even venturing north to a beach. I could have stayed at one of our resorts call Ocean Walk but I knew I would not break away from the job. I would have been focused and everything that site was doing to take the good information back to my resort. As I drove up and down Atlantic Ave searching my girlfriend who does not like high rise buildings spotted Tropical Manor. I turned my car around and thought to myself; oh great a little mom and pop place and I bet it doesn't even have a pool...... Well I should have taken my mothers advice 'never judge a book by it's cover'. The front desk agent who has only been there for a year was friendly, well mannered, polite and informative. She is a true example of an employee who loves what she does everyday. She gave me the history of the property and explained how the rooms were set up differently and unique. I was in shock to hear all of her information. I could hardly wait to get to the room. The only thing open was standard rooms with King of two Double beds. This was fine with us!!! The room was immaculate, beautiful bedding, hand painted tropical wall to a mini fridge and microwave!!! SCORE, all of this and being on the beach for only $104!!!!!! This place was wonderful!! As we sat at the pool for two days I watched the interaction of the guests. Come to find out a family vacation of 32 people were traveling from Kentucky!! Talk about friendly people, they won hands down!! They had been coming to the hotel for 20 plus years!!! It was awesome to Witness good family values and the children and grand children were all playing together and only 2 people were in cell phones during the day. I was shocked once again as in this world technology is always in the hands of pre teens and teenagers. Not here there was so much fun stuff to do not any of the kids were worried about video game, cell phones or computers!! This facility is simply amazing!!! Every room Is different, staff has been there for 10 years or more. Mr Jammer was so very friendly and said he would be sure to remember is on our next visit. I cannot stress enough of what a great experience we had. This will definitely be the ONLY place I sat when visiting Daytona."

"The Tropical Manor is the best motel I have EVER stayed at. These rooms are my very favorite all-time.I used to stay at The Ocean Palm Motel in Sunny Isles but Tropical Manor is even better by a lot! Daytona Beach is my FAVROTYE place in all of Florida as you can bodysurf all day with steady waves. Mrs. Audrey Dando put all of her effort into this motel way back in 1957 I believe. And her daughter ,Aileen Band, is the current owner/manager and bends over backwards for guests. Aileen is a genuine person who truly goes all out. You will be SO PLEASED to stay here and have the vacation you always wanted. Clean, quiet on the beach, beautifully landscaped beautifully decorated including coconut palm,. a giant Saquatch statue that I like so much and all nature stuff -birds tiny lizards everywhere in a tropical to subtropical environment and SPECTACULAR! I just had the vacation of my life and appreciate all Aileen does. ! She is an artistic and gifted owner/manager. What beautifully decorated rooms that feel like 'home away from home.' You will be very relaxed here and awaken to breathtaking ocean front views! It really made my day every morning. You will always come back here every year and often make friends. Give Tropical Manor a try and you will be hooked. Hope this review helps potential guests, Just go for it! You will be SO happy! Chris D."
